Characteristics of Chateau de Loei Wines
1. Sparkling de Loe Brut NV (100% Chenin),13% Vol.
Honey nose, very rich on the palate, a very fine mousse on the palate.
2. Chateau de Loe Extra Dry Chenin Blanc 2003,12.5% Vol.
Typical aged Chenin characteristics were present is nose stink, farmyard smells, clean fruit on the palate and fruity. True wine connoisseurs will love.
3. Chateau de Loe Chenin Blanc 2003,12.5% Vol.
Really a medium sweet wine, deep colour, golden, mushroom and fungus on the nose, medium sweet fruit on the palate. It matches perfectly with the spicy Thai seafood, excellent with very spicy fish Tom Yum.
4. Chateau de Loe Rose 2004,11.5% Vol.
Very drinkable, strawberry fruit and clean. Good colour. It complete of all the wines.
5. Chateau de Loe Shiraz 2004,11.5% Vol.
Light, soft and sweet with a bitter after taste. Oak on the nose and palate with a very light middle palate.
6. Chateau de Loe Shiraz Reserve 2003,12.5% Vol.
Deeper colour, more extraction, less sweet, with brambly fruit on the nose.
7. Chateau de Loe Chenin Blanc Dessert Wine 2004,13% Vol.
Light, clean, not too rich, with raisin, rubbery characteristic. Very good.
