HX-MMC201 is an excellent non-halogen nitrogen flame retardant, which synthesis method is different from traditional technique. It is suitable for flame retardant of pure polyamide resin in particular, slight effects to the plastic electrical property, mechanical property, and has outstanding processing stability. Furthermore, it has no corrosion to the equipment and mould in processing. The flame-retardant mechanism of HX-MMC201 is different from halogenated flame retardants in the fire, which refers to gas phase and condensed phase flame retardants. When polyamide which contains MCA burning, MCA will absorb caloric owing to sublimating and decomposing, and will bring down the condensed phase's temperature. The incombustible and inert gas that producing by MCA decomposes dilute air and combustible gas. At the same time, HX-MMC201 will produce more char layer to hold up matter transferred from burning area to outside world and thereby enhance the flame-retardant efficiency of condensed phase. Moreover, there are no toxic halogen hydride gas to produce on burning. It is a king of non-halogen environmental protection flame retardant.
