Flange Facer

Flange facer is portable machine for turning, facing, gorving etc. With an addition of a self-powered unit head, it can mill, drill and grind. Huge jobs like turbines, flanged pipes, pressure vessels etc are difficult to handle. For such jobs, flange facers are the most ideal solution. Flang facers get clamped on the job either in the od or in the ID of job the job through hydraulic clamping cylinders. The rotary drive unit consists of pre-loaded taper roller bearings, worm reduction gear box and a vfd operated motor. The cross feed axis consists of a RAM type cross-slide with case hardened guideways, vfd or servo operated tool post carriage and lead screw and box nut arrangement. This rigid machine is capable of heavy material removal and providing extremely good finish on the job.
